The films being screened over 10 days are also complemented by panel discussions that are part of our initiative, Infrastructure Building for Minds and Markets (IBM2). IBM2 brings a unique array of seminars and debates to discuss issues, analyze trends and explore the future of creative and business aspects of cinema. This year, these discussions and debates will focus on the models and processes of ‘Institution Building’ with special focus on The Osianama, the unique cultural complex being built by Osian’s, on the one hand and Writing and Cinema on the other. image

  INFO FOR TALENTS

The dates for the Talent Campus India are 13-18 July 2008.

Registration will take place between 11:30am and 1pm on 13th July in Siri Fort 2 Lobby. We suggest that outstation candidates arrive in New Delhi by the 12th evening or 13th morning, according to their respective train schedules. The rest of the 13th will be structured around a Welcome address, a short orientation session, and a Welcome dinner.

Each day of the workshop will be divided into sessions of mostly one and a half to two hours each. Each session will involve a presentation or discussion by the guest speakers followed by an interactive discussion with the Talents.

Sessions will begin at 9:30am or 10:00 am and continue till 3 pm. We have made a special effort to put together an interesting programme for you; therefore we would like you to participate fully in all the sessions.

Talents will be required to view certain films everyday after the sessions for the next day’s discussions. They are requested to attend these screenings as they may be used as points of reference in the subsequent sessions.

Talents are encouraged to attend screenings at Osian’s-Cinefan, 10th Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema (10-20 July), as long as they do not interfere with the Campus programme. We have an exciting and eclectic collection of films this year.

For Outstation Talents: Please read the following details carefully

Reimbursements

Outstation Talents will be reimbursed the amount of an AC 3 Tier return train ticket from their point of departure. You are requested to provide us with your travel details in advance (i.e. names of stations and train, dates of departure and arrival, and cost of ticket). This will enable us to have the reimbursements ready at the time of registration; you will be able to collect the money after presenting your ticket along with a photocopy of your return ticket attested by you.

Lunch Reimbursement

All the talents will be paid an amount of 150 each to cover their lunch expenses for the 6 days of the workshop (13-18th July). This amount would be paid at the time of registration.

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact us at pearl@osians.com.
