Arabs and Terrorism was researched in six languages and filmed on location in 11 countries with 120 experts and politicians as well as hundreds of street interviews across the United States, Europe, and the Arab world. The first episode in the series deals primarily with the dominant discourse on terrorism in the United States, Europe, and Israel. It also features dissident voices from these countries and the Middle East. The second episode deals with ‘state terrorism,’ providing the critics of the dominant discourse on terrorism with an opportunity to bring what they think is missing from that discussion. The final episode deals with the often thin line between terrorism and resistance. A clear divide emerges between those who support the ‘War on Terrorism’ and those who critique it.
