After her husband’s confession of having an affair, Yeon absent-mindedly finds herself heading towards the prison to meet condemned criminal Jin, who has repeatedly attempted suicide. Although she doesn’t know him personally, repeated news of his suicide attempts on TV lead her to seek him out. She meets Jin and treats him like an old friend; Jin doesn’t open up to her easily, but Yeon’s continued efforts to cheer him and her constant devotion despite his outbursts makes him gradually accept her efforts and he opens up to her. They gradually fall in love. Meanwhile, Yeon’s husband learns about their intimate relation and tries to separate them. But can the two people attached to each other more than life and death be sepatrated?
